Account: Device Validation - Confirm new device for advertiser account
Instructions For Advertiser New Device Validation
To safeguard your account and our website, you must verify new devices. This means if you create an account and later log in from a new device, you need to validate that the new device is yours. You can choose to remember your devices if you wish to make it easier to log in from them in the future.
Why do we do this? As mentioned above, it is to protect your account and our website. We have had several instances where advertisers mistakenly shared their login information with others, which resulted in them losing access to their accounts as others changed their emails, phone numbers, and passwords.
When logging in from a new device, our website will present you with the following validation options:
- E-mail
- SMS (gateway 1)
- SMS (gateway 2)
- Robocall voice code
1. E-mail with validation code will be send to you.
(wait 3 minutes)
2. If no email arrives in your mailbox, you can request the code via SMS.
3. If the first SMS doesn't arrive on your phone, you can request a second one; a new SMS gateway will be used.
(wait 3 minutes)
4. If you did not receive either SMS message, you can request a ROBOCALL.
(wait 3 minutes)
Our system will call you and repeat the code twice.
Be ready to write it down!
5. If you did not receive the email, SMS 1, SMS 2, or the robocall, you can try using other phone numbers associated with your account, if available.
It is almost impossible not to receive the code with so many options. In case you are that 1 in a million, contact support.
